The Shrewsbury and North Shropshire party covers the Parliamentary constituencies of Shrewsbury and Atcham and North Shropshire.

Every day we are building on the "Green Surge" that has seen our local membership quadrupled in recent years. We now have 5 seats on Oswestry Town Council as well as a Shropshire Council and Town Council seat in Shrewsbury. We can and will win elections because we are the only party with a rational alternative to Westminster politics.

Zero Carbon by 2030

Global warming

Please take a moment to sign the e-petition on the Shropshire Council website calling for a target date by which the activities of the Council are to be net zero carbon.

The Council has already accepted there is a climate emergency but has so far declined to set any target date. We believe having a target is essential and 2030 is reasonable.

The link to the e-petition is here.

The closing date is 25th November 2019, so don't delay!
