Duncan Kerr Sponsered Bike RideDuncan Kerr, recently elected as the Green Party Councillor for South Oswestry is undertaking a cycle challenge to raise money for Chalk, a Community Interest Company in Oswestry.

In just three days he aims to cycle 333 miles starting in Oswestry and visiting Fishguard, Rosslare, Dublin, Holyhead and back.

That's 3 countries, 3 islands but just two wheels and two legs! His trip will start on the 14th May.

Duncan said “During the election I met many wonderful people in the town and was determined to give something back to the community. Having seen at first hand the amazing work and commitment of the people involved in Chalk I am supporting their campaign to buy a van to collect and distribute up-cycled furniture for disadvantaged families in the town”.

Duncan added “Having done a few practice rides I'm starting to realise that it is a little further, and a little hillier, than I had imagined so if you are able to support me that would be great.”

Sponsorship forms are available from, and donations can be made to, Chalk CIC in Leg St, Oswestry.
