In just three days he aims to cycle 333 miles starting in Oswestry and visiting Fishguard, Rosslare (in Eire), Dublin, Holyhead and back; 3 countries, 3 islands but just two wheels and two legs!

However, we have considerable misgivings about the expenditures in the existing SITP proposals as we do not believe they will achieve their aims in relation to reducing town-centre traffic and encouraging sustainable modes of transport.

John’s candidacy comes at a time of unprecedented growth for the Green Party which saw their vote in Shrewsbury quadruple at the recent General Election.
