Olly Rose

Olly

Olly has been an Oswestry Town Councillor since May 2017.

She represents the Council on the Access Group aiming to make the town and its facilities accessible to all and has included making the car park barriers accessible to wheelchair accessible vehicles and campaigning for a changing places toilet.

She also sits on the Footfall Group who aim to enliven and decorate the town with murals to encourage tourism and involve young people to feel they are very much part of the towns life.

She campaigns to reduce the use of plastics and provide public water fountains and to increase the ease of recycling around the town.

Currently following a couch potato to 5k programme, current progress so far no longer on the couch but still pretty much a potato.

A Growing Party

Green Councillors in the West Midlands

Anyone can be a Green Party person

Anyone can be a Green Party person. All you need is to care for the world near you.

We come from all over and don't have to agree about everything. Everyone's voice is heard no matter how old you are, whatever your sex and you don't have to have a beard, though some do.
