Tim Dawes is a proud Salopian, having been born and brought up in the County. Now retired, he had a career in local government and business. His last "proper job" was as Managing Director of a consultancy company. He was the Green Party's candidate for The Wrekin at the last General Election. He has a particular interest in planning and transport and wants to see all County bus services radically improved and integrated with our train services. He is a member of the Caughley Society and the Shropshire Archeological and National History Society and a strong supporter of local arts and cultural organisations and events. This year he acted as programme manager for the Darwin Festival.
Anyone can be a Green Party person
Anyone can be a Green Party person. All you need is to care for the world near you.
We come from all over and don't have to agree about everything. Everyone's voice is heard no matter how old you are, whatever your sex and you don't have to have a beard, though some do.
